About Anbi

Built to close a structural gap.

Australia has over $200 billion in non-bank lending assets and no consumer brand. Most borrowers who are declined by a bank receive no systematic guidance toward the lenders who can serve them. Anbi was built to change that.

What we do

Anbi is a specialist non-bank loan origination business. We assess borrowers who do not fit standard bank criteria, match them to the non-bank lenders whose credit policies fit their specific profile, and originate the loan to settlement.

We work with three primary borrower profiles: self-employed investors whose income is verified through accountant letters rather than tax returns, employed borrowers excluded by the bank debt-to-income cap, and self-employed owner-occupiers with past credit events. Each of these groups is turned away by banks despite being creditworthy under the right lending policy.

We are not a comparison site or a generic broker referral. We assess your scenario, find the right lender for your specific situation, prepare a complete application, and manage the process through to settlement.

Our panel

Anbi works with Australia's leading non-bank lenders across residential and commercial lending — from large non-bank institutions to specialist providers who focus on self-employed, adverse credit, and high-LVR scenarios. Our panel covers the full non-bank market so we can match every borrower to the lender most likely to approve their loan.

How we operate

01

Credit-led, not volume-led

We originate fewer loans than a generalist broker, and we do it better. Every case is reviewed against lender credit policy before submission. We do not submit speculatively. We do not lodge applications against likely outcomes. This approach produces higher settlement rates and fewer credit enquiry marks on our clients' files.

02

Transparent about scope

If a borrower clearly qualifies for a standard bank mortgage, we tell them that and do not take the file. Non-bank lending carries a rate premium. Recommending it when it is unnecessary would be a poor outcome for the client and a bad reflection on us.

03

Structured, not approximate

Our assessment process produces a written pathway document with specific lender categories, documentation requirements, and credit considerations. Nothing is approximate. Borrowers understand exactly what they are getting into before they proceed.

04

Operator model

Every loan file is handled by a specialist operator, not a generalist processing queue. Operators understand non-bank credit policy at a product level, not just a lender level. This depth of knowledge is the primary reason our submissions have a higher approval rate than industry averages.

Licensing and compliance

Anbi operates as an authorised credit representative under an Australian Credit Licence, in accordance with the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 and all applicable responsible lending obligations.

All origination commissions are paid by the lending institution on settlement. Borrowers pay no upfront fees to Anbi. Trail commission is retained by Anbi and is disclosed to borrowers in all credit proposal documentation.
